Freshman guard Jordan Walker has left the Seton Hall program per a tweet by 247 sports reporter Andrew Slater.
Walker was out for the past month with a thumb injury and was seeking more playing time from Pirates Coach Kevin Willard. Walker played in two games for the Pirates, scoring 7 points in 28 total minutes. He did not play in Seton Hall’s loss to Rutgers this past Saturday.
Sophomore Eron Gordon will backup starting point guard Khadeen Carrington for the duration. Walker, from Port Washington, NY was initially going to take a post-graduate year after playing at the Patrick School in Elizabeth, NJ but decided that Seton Hall was the right fit after the Pirates intensely recruited him.
The story will be updated as we get more information.
